No endpoint listening Problem with 30-day full functionality license
While I try to get the 30 days try license for MathCAD Prime 3.0, I get the following information after input my account information and press OK. (Account is correct).
Do anybody know what the problem is?
I think it should be some safety problem of the internet of my company.
As the time when I try to use another try version SW, e.g. IAR., I can not access the server.
Is there any other way to active my MathCAD? like offline way to get the license.

units incompatible
Hi,
pretty new to Mathcad here - can anyone help with the attached file? in the first solve block, in one of the equations, it says that the units are incompatible - but all the units are in kN, so it should work?

Definite Integral Issue with Mathcad 15
Hi there,
Not sure if I have an incorrect implementation/setup or if it's some kind of bug...
If I perform the following in Mathcad 2001i, it works instantly:
If I perform the same in Mathcad 15 it will not solve and I eventually I get the message "Condition contains Otherwise in subexpression".
I have attached the files I have been using for your perusal.

One standard for on line free calculation
One standard for texts and "dead" formulas now is pdf (Adobe).
We can free download Adobe Reader and open documents (in Internet).
Now Elsevier/Knovel is working on same standard for "live" calculation.
In future we can free download ??? and open documents with "live" formulas: input new data for formulas and see new answer!
I think Mathcad (Express) can be this ???. I would like to have some as Mathcad Reader

Text boxes change upon opening file
One of our engineers mentioned that text boxes always change size when re-opening a file. So if his file contained a text box with 3 lines of text when he re-opens the file the text box has changed to 6 lines of text and the text box is smaller. He said this has been on ongoing issue since time began. Can someone shed some light on this?

Find/Given using programming toolbar - it only works intermittently
I'm using code off of a project partner where he laid out a find/given function using the programming feature. In most instances it works, however when I change a variable value or add a variable to the equation, it goes "undefined" and will no longer give me an answer. This seems work well when we did the original calculation sheet, however, when I go and try to make revisions to it there are problems that always occur.
Even when I just copy and paste the parts to another worksheet it stops working.
I didn't want to redo his entire worksheet using another method to find the answers. Does anyone know why I would keep having problems with this method? Is there some syntax that is very discrete that I'm missing? If not solving through this method, do you have a recommendation?

Solving a Polynomial Equation
I have been playing around using different methods to solve a polynomial equation and need the help of one of the 'symbolic guru's on here.
I have managed to solve the equation and evaluated numerically, but have the following queries:
- Can I force the symbolic result to return only real values
- Is 'float' required to evaluate the symbolic expression numerically
- Is there a more elegant way to solve this equation.

64bit Mathcad 15
Please could the Mathcad team in PTC compile the next 040 release of Mathcad 15 as 64bit as well as 32 bit. For those of us who still love Mathcad 15 and could do with the extra memory it would be a big help without any great effort from PTC.

Graphs in Mathcad prime 3.0

Thanks is advance.
I am making a graph for moments vs load radius..My Load radius start at 10.3m and hence the graph lines also start at that point (the vertical line in the document). But I want those lines to start from zero ( I mean y axis). How can I do so?
I am making these plots against LoadRadius, Rw which has three values in a matirx but my other variables just has one constant value. So how can I put these constant value against three load radius, which will utimately produce a straight horizontal line. Here in the graph I have used a technique writing Friction= C*Rw/Rw which is not smart way I think.

How strong is the correlation
I have a system that has a number of thermocouples that is reporting a thermal strain. The strain appears to be dependent on the thermocouple readings, but not all of the thermocouples will affect the readings as much as some others.
Given a dataset, how can I rank the influence levels of the thermocouples?

Function that provides prime numbers or ability to import prime numbers from a file at PTC
Prime Numbers are used in a number of areas such as cryptography, statistics, and math education. The IsPrime function is of little use to some one who needs the first N primes. Even in attempting to program, it is not obvious how to use IsPrime to obtain the first N primes and assign them to an array. Even an ability to obtain prime numbers (say between N and M) from a website list and assign them to a vector would be useful.

This solve used to work but now not in ver 15- why??
I have a MCAD file from a version 12 that now requires a different set of tricks in ver 15 to make it work. I'm trying to understand why, and if there is really a better way to approach to original solution. We are not using MCAD Prime at this time.

Mathcad Prime 3.0 X-Y Plot "Plotting Failed"
Hi,
I am working on this worksheet, and I cannot get Mathcad to plot my equation. I get the following error: "Plotting Failed. Replace complex values and NaNs by real numbers."
I am not using any complex values and I shouldn't have any NaNs unless their is a syntax issue.
I have looked through many resources, and I haven't found a solution to this seemingly simple problem.

Is there any way to determine how many iterations Mathcad performed in a Minerr Nonlinear-Regression: Levenberg-Marquardt curvefit?
I am trying to check if my Minerr solution to a nonlinear-regression, Levenberg-Marquardt curvefit of a circle to data points worked correctly. I did not get an error message, so I think the iterations converged. But I cannot check simply by the error at each data point, because, obviously, it is a minimization problem, so one expects to get error at each data point - it is a best curvefit problem. I set the TOL and CTOL convergence-error values to 1e-010, and I still got no error message. So I think it converged, but I want to make sure. If I could confirm that a non-trivial number of iterations was performed, then I could be somewhat reassured. But if it stopped after, say, 2 iterations, then I would guess that something got misinterpreted by Mathcad, perhaps in the required vectorization.

Simple (I think) query. Convert a function to a Vector...
Hi,
I'm sure this is real easy but I can't see the wood for the trees. Given a function which uses a range variable as it's parameter. How do I convert this to a Vector for use in the fft function?
