The program loaded easily from the downloaded file. However it has some strange behaviour.
1. The slightest mistake with a mouse click causes a program crash.
2. Any attempt to move the position of a tool group, in the header or on a worksheet, produces a ghostly companion outline and great difficuty in
placement.
This is very irritating and not user friendly; M020 never did this.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?

I produced a program where there are 10 columns and the resultant matrix displays as a table rather than in the normal matrix format. When reducing the number of columns to 8 or less the normal matrix format is displayed. Is there a fix for this?

I am trying to format a new template for my company and came across the following flaw in Mathcad 15 header and footer feature.
I want to add a horizontal line below the header and above the footer. So I have created an image from a line created in word and saved in the correct format. I have then inserted as usual into the footer - all works ok. However, when I try to insert the horizontal line in the header the line defaults to the top of the header even if the 'insert image' link is placed below text. Has anyone else had this issue before or know of a workaround?

I am trying to update a bunch of Mathcad 14 sheets to Prime 3.0, and I know Prime 3.0 does not have drop down menus like Mathcad 15 does. Is there any other function on Prime 3.0 that can serve the same function? I have attached a Mathcad sheet that I need to update to Prime 3.0 that has drop down menus, any help would be very much appreciated.

Release dates for Mathcad Prime 3.1 F000 and Mathcad 15 M040 changed. Quarter 1 (of 2015 year) - for Prime 3.1 and for a MC15 M040 is quarter 2 (same 2015 year) now.
Question 1 -
For solving nonlinear equations I use AdamsBDF solver. However, varying the number of discretization intervals (controlled by the variable "intvls") results in solutions quite different from one another. How can one determine the optimum number of intvls. I tried it by plotting the solutions by increasing the number of intervals till the two successive solution produce the same result. Is there any other way to find the optimum number of intervals?
Question 2 -
In oscillation problems, I am interested in knowing only the time required for a pendulum to reaach equilibrium (theta =0).
I do not want to get the entire solution but am interested only up to when the soultion reaches zero the first time. This is when the initial value of angle theta from vertical axis is given and I wish to find when it reaches zero the first time. How do I do this?

the equation of a cilinder is cilinder(roh, teta) and the shpere, like this: and th final plot, with wrong equation.
I need to draw a sphere with a equation of a cilinder, so I try to z:=-1.5,-1.6..-4.5 instead of Z:=-1.5
But funcion CreateMesh gives error becouse Z is a array of numbers instead a number?
By the way, anyone know hot to plot a three variable 3d? like Sph(x, y, z) := ...??

I have some trouble with a function dF(x, d1, d2). I would like to aquire this way p value from F distribution for a known sample with identified F value.
Number of independent variables: 2
Number of dependent variables: 1
Sample's size: 20
F value: 16.8833
I implemented data to formula: dF(16.8833,2,17) and got a result 3.064 *10^-5. But this is not correct for my needs, because the desired value is 9.15*10^-5.
When I calculate it in reverse way through formula qF(1-9.15*10^-5,2,17) I got 16.8833. Can you explain me what I am doing wrong?
There have been a few threads/blogs recently that have highlighted the potential for Multi-Dimensional Arrays (MDAs)
The link below goes to a PTC blog that talks about database querying. One aspect that I'm not sure is covered is OLAP integration, and it's certainly difficult to see how multi-dimensional dataset analysis can be supported (without a lot of work) using the current nested array structure (for example, the clumsy indexing notation required to get at a nested element (and the fact that you can't directly assign values using such notation).
Another thread was that started by J Lee in which it turned out that the originator wanted an array of matrices (ie, a multi-dimensional array) to represent his output data.
MDAs have been on the feature request list since at least Mathcad version 11 and the need has not gone away; indeed, the amount of multi-dimensional data sets is increasing all the time and Mathcad poorly serves those who have to deal with it.
Can anybody shed any light on whether PTC are even considering implementing MDAs at some stage?

I'm a bit hung up on how to insert a drop down from execl into Prime 3.0. I have tried two different things and haven't gotten either to work. I have attached two excel sheets that are samples of what I am tring to do. Drop Down Test.xls is what i would like to use. I want to be able to select an option from the drop down in cell C1 (list of A1:A3) and have the coresponding value in column B returned. I am also willing to use Test.xls, where I would input a value from column A and the coresponding value in column B is returned. Any help would be nice, step by step help would be best, as I am new to the functions of Prime 3.0.

I am use tot Mathcad 15 and I am having issues transferring my range function over into Prime PTC 3.0. I am attaching both files for insight about the issue. The mathcad15 file works fine, but I cannot get the Prime3 file to execute anymore.

I have Matchcad Prime 3 [ACADEMIC] and Mathcad 15 [ACADEMIC]. I can use the Signal Processing functions wihtin Prime but not within Mathcad 15. I'm guessing the pack isn't installed for 15 due to the Academic license. What I don't quite understand is why I can access the functions in Prime - are they built into Prime by default but need the extension pack installing for 15?
Is there anyway of installing the pack for 15 - I've been on the PTC downloads site but I can't find anything for 15. I'm guessing though that my license level determines whether I have it or not...
